Beautiful Weather For Florida | More Wintry Weather For The North East

Good morning all. Yesterday was certainty a busy day in the weather department for both Florida and the North East. For Florida and especially the Treasure Coast, this week will feature temperatures in the 80’s with low rain chances all week. Today will be the exception where we will only see about 75 degrees as the high. By mid-week we will be looking at 85 degrees in most locations. If you like or work outdoors, this will be a great week for you!

Blizzard Warnings for The Cape and Islands

The latest forecast for the North East is calling for Blizzard conditions along the Cape and Islands with the effects rapidly dropping as you move farther west. In fact, Boston could get just a dusting of snow with some strong winds.

Bombogenesis is underway right now just east of the Virginia coast as the oow pressure area is rapidly deepening with a rapid pressure drop. The satellite/radar image below shows the deepening storm system quite plainly.

Potential Snow For New England | March 25, 2014

Good morning everybody. The storm that is expected to impact the North East will offer a glancing blow to most locations from New Jersey through New England. In the latest report, 2 to 4 inches of snow are expected except the far eastern parts of the Cape where blizzard conditions are still possible.

On the current forecast track, areas such as Boston will only see nuisance snow and not an all out blizzard.

Potential Coastal Storm for New England

A large deepening Low Pressure area is expected to move off the coast of New England next Tuesday and Wednesday. Rapid ly falling pressures are possible off the coast with some models sending the pressures as low as some tropical systems. The wind field will be large with huge ocean swells.

Areas along the coast will be impacted regardless of the track.

The exact track of the system has not yet been ironed out so residents in New England need to closely stay tuned. If the system moves farther west, heavy snow, wind and coastal flooding could be a major issue.

New England Forecast for Next week

Good evening all! This report will be geared towards our friends in the North East states. Even though spring has sprung, mother nature may have other ideas about this. Besides the polar cold that will affect the region next week, we are looking st the potential for a strong Nor’ Easter as well. Right now, most of the modelling is keeping the worst of the storm out at sea but areas east of 95 will be on the outer edges of the storm.
