Tracking Atlantic Invest 92 and 93

**Special Tropical Outlook***
Surface observations have shown that a low pressure area, called Atlantic Invest 92,  is forming near the tip of Honduras and the associated shower activity has become more concentrated. This system has a high chance of becoming a tropical cyclone over the next few days. Interests in the Southern Gulf of Mexico need to watch this system carefully as it begins to develop.

Invest 91 May Regenerate Again Into Dorian

A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE…ASSOCIATED WITH THE REMNANTS OF DORIAN…
IS PRODUCING A SMALL BUT CONCENTRATED AREA OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS…AS WELL AS GALE-FORCE WINDS…A FEW HUNDRED MILES
NORTH-NORTHEAST OF THE LEEWARD ISLANDS. ALTHOUGH THERE ARE
CURRENTLY NO INDICATIONS OF A CLOSED LOW-LEVEL CIRCULATION AND A
WELL-DEFINED CENTER…ONLY A SMALL INCREASE IN ORGANIZED
THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY COULD LEAD TO THE REFORMATION OF A TROPICAL
CYCLONE. ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS ARE MARGINALLY CONDUCIVE FOR
REGENERATION…AND THIS SYSTEM HAS A MEDIUM CHANCE…50 PERCENT…
OF BECOMING A TROPICAL CYCLONE DURING THE NEXT 48 HOURS AS IT MOVES
WESTWARD TO WEST-NORTHWESTWARD AT 15 TO 20 MPH. THIS DISTURBANCE IS
EXPECTED TO PASS WELL TO THE NORTH OF THE LEEWARD ISLANDS AND
PUERTO RICO TONIGHT AND MONDAY…AND MOVE OVER THE TURKS AND CAICOS
ISLANDS AND THE SOUTHEASTERN BAHAMAS ON TUESDAY.

Severe Storms Possible Today In East Central Florida

Hi everybody, the potential for severe storms in East Central Florida today is about 80%. Weak low  pressure  that is located over the  Florida Panhandle this morning is forecast to get stronger as it moves off the coast. Clusters of thunderstorms located in the Gulf will move onshore and across Florida today. A combination of the southern jet over the south east US and a subtropical jet near the Yucatan  Peninsula  will result  in the potential of severe storms this afternoon. This in combination with the warm front will set the stage for the bad weather to be mostly south of Orlando. Watches and/or warnings are likely to be issued later today for areas of East Central Florida. This appears to be the area most likely to get the severe storms.

Severe Weather in the Central US..Nice Weather for Florida

Your Latest Florida Weather Information

Hi everybody. The Central part of the US will be experiencing sever weather today and tonight with the possibility of an out of season tornado outbreak. All this weather is the result of a cold front with an area of very moist air coupled with good wind shear in the upper atmosphere will lay the bricks for a severe storm outbreak. The high upper level winds tend to come down to the surface in the more severe storms and this in turn can cause rotation and tornadoes.
