Invest 91 May Regenerate Again Into Dorian

A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE…ASSOCIATED WITH THE REMNANTS OF DORIAN…
IS PRODUCING A SMALL BUT CONCENTRATED AREA OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS…AS WELL AS GALE-FORCE WINDS…A FEW HUNDRED MILES
NORTH-NORTHEAST OF THE LEEWARD ISLANDS. ALTHOUGH THERE ARE
CURRENTLY NO INDICATIONS OF A CLOSED LOW-LEVEL CIRCULATION AND A
WELL-DEFINED CENTER…ONLY A SMALL INCREASE IN ORGANIZED
THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY COULD LEAD TO THE REFORMATION OF A TROPICAL
CYCLONE. ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS ARE MARGINALLY CONDUCIVE FOR
REGENERATION…AND THIS SYSTEM HAS A MEDIUM CHANCE…50 PERCENT…
OF BECOMING A TROPICAL CYCLONE DURING THE NEXT 48 HOURS AS IT MOVES
WESTWARD TO WEST-NORTHWESTWARD AT 15 TO 20 MPH. THIS DISTURBANCE IS
EXPECTED TO PASS WELL TO THE NORTH OF THE LEEWARD ISLANDS AND
PUERTO RICO TONIGHT AND MONDAY…AND MOVE OVER THE TURKS AND CAICOS
ISLANDS AND THE SOUTHEASTERN BAHAMAS ON TUESDAY.

Florida Christmas Forecast

Hi everybody, Christmas is almost here and that all important Christmas forecast is upon us. A cool front will bring nice seasonable temperatures to us on Friday with a warming trend into Christmas day. For our friends in the Mid Section of the country, it looks like a white Christmas will be the rule. This storm could pose some holiday travel woes for people in this part of the country. Your forecast for the Treasure Coast including Martin, St Lucie, Indian River and Brevard counties.

Strong Coastal Storm May Affect East Coast

The strong nor’easter we have been talking about is beginning to obtain all the  ingredients  that are necessary for a robust storm to pound the north-east. Two disturbances are going to merge off the coast of the Carolinas and form yet another system that could  create  some coastal flooding along the coast of New Jersey and New York. These areas have already been hard hit by  Super storm  Sandy last week. The first signs of the  developing  storm will appear in Florida on Tuesday. Thunderstorms will march across the Sunshine State from west to east creating about a 60% chance of rain. The  developing  low will begin to move away from Florida on Tuesday night and begin to rapidly strengthen as it moves up the coast. This will drag a cold front through and allow for cooler and drier air to enter Florida the renmainder of the week.

Nor’Easter Gearing Up For Battered Northeast

The last thing that anybody in the Northeast wants to hear about is bad weather or a Nor’easter.  Unfortunately, a new storm is expected to take aim at that part of the country next week. Models are showing a nor’easterr type system forming off the coast of the Carolinas in a couple of days. This system will then chug north up the coast bringing heavy rain, strong persistent NE winds and snow to an area that has already seen enough.

Lower Humidity FInally Coming To Florida

‎**Lower Humidity Later This Week**
Hi everybody. A weak cold front will filter down the state today bringing a chance of showers all day today but starting tomorrow things will dry out as slightly cooler air hits the region. Highs the rest of the week will be in the 85 degree range which is close to the normal for this time of year. For today you can expect showers at almost anytime. Some of that rain will come from a tropical distubance located in the Bahamas. The chance of development remains low near 10%.

Severe Weather Heading Towards the East Coast

Severe weather is building and threatening the East Coast of the U.S. 2 to 3 inches of rain, thunderstorms, high winds and tornadoes are possible. Take heed if you live from the Carolinas through New England.
