Invest 96 Update

Hi everybody. As of this morning, Invest 96 remains disorganized but pressures continue to drop. Global models are still spread with a couple going to the Central Gulf while most of the others are focusing on some part of Florida. I do not think we are going to see an agreement until after the storm becomes either a depression or a tropical storm. The chances for development remain at about 70%. Since the system is moving little, the longer it takes for the system to get going will only prolong the unsettled weather. There are a few suggestions that the system might actually split into two. This would leave a part near Florida and another part in the Central Gulf. This would reduce the chances of development but would spread the rain out to a larger area. A recon is scheduled to investigate the system today but it could be cancelled if the system remains disorganized. http://www.joesdiscoweathercentral.com/Tropical_Web_Forecasts.html

Invest 96 Latest Model Trends

Hi everybody, looking at the latest models the tracks have shifted. We will have to see how this is going to affect the official forecast. If you live anywhere from Florida to the Central Gulf you will need to pay attention this weekend. http://www.joesdiscoweathercentral.com/Tropical_Web_Forecasts.html

Tracking Invest 96 (Atlantic)

Hi everybody. The broad area in the Gulf is expected to soon be in a location where tropical development will be favorable. The conditions will then remain favorable for development. All interests along the Gulf Coast should monitor this system through the weekend. Depending on the eventual development and track, we could see heavy rains and possibly gusty winds on our coast. It is now officially Invest 96 but there are not a lot of models yet to decipher an actual track.I would really watch anywhere from the Central Gulf East.
