Even though our tornadoes are generally weak and small compared to those in the Midwest, they can strike with little or no warning and can still cause a great deal of damage.
The best way to prevent disaster is to be informed. Every household should own a NOAA weather radio ands have it activated and on standby at all times. In addition, resources such as our website on Facebook can also be a valuable tool.
