Frigid Temperatures Hitting the Northern Tier of US

Hi everybody, as mentioned in the previous blog post the weather has turned brutally cold in many parts of the country. Some areas in Massachusetts are going down to the single digits and even in the negative numbers this week. in fact areas as far south as Charleston South Carolina are going to feel the cold with temperatures as low as 25 degrees in these areas. For the Sunshine State, we are still looking at nice temperatures but a bit cooler then last week.

As of this writing, some moderate snow was falling near the coast in New England.

We are still a bit above normal with the normal highs for this time of year around 73 and the normal low about 52. The rest of this week will bring in beautiful 75 degree temperatures during the day and lows in the mid to upper 50’s for East Central Florida. The chance of rain will be 20% or less during the entire period.

In you live in northern Florida, temps will be a bit cooler with lows in the low 40’s with high 30’s in a few locations. The high temperatures will be in the 60 to 65 degree range for most of the period. It will be a bit warmer on Friday with a high of 71.

South Florida will be slightly warmer with a high near 80 and lows in the 60’s. Sunday will be cooler with a high near 71.

Whether you live in Florida or you are planning to visit to get away from the cold, this week should be a good bet as far as weather goes.
