There is still lots of uncertainty as to exactly where in Mass. the heaviest snow is going to fall. The snow amounts have been raised in most locations in response to recent model trends. Boston may be upgraded to a Winter Storm Warning later today. Most of inland Central Mass. is under a Winter Weather Advisory at this time.
It appears the bulk of the snow in the interior will occur later this afternoon into tonight. Travel will become hazardous so plan accordingly.
A potent shortwave will drop from the northwest and this action will help to pull the ocean storm more towards southern New England later today.
